2016 KING OF THE MOUNTAIN WELCOME

One of the Country's top five iconic grassroots outdoor volleyball tournaments, the Annual Vail King of the Mountain Open, held every year over Father's Day Weekend, is a cornucopia of volleyball competition.  The largest of all of the Rocky Mountain Region beach volleyball tournaments, the King of the Mountain Open draws upwards of 770 teams over the three days of competition including divisions of play for Men's Masters/Seniors and Women's Masters as well as competition for adults, juniors, co-ed teams and special "one-of-a kind" Father/Son and Father/Daughter divisions.

This Father's Day volleyball celebration has as its goal(s) to provide a fun, exciting tourney for amateur players as well as a "proving ground" for aspiring pro players and a developmental arena for future beach volleyball stars.  Along those lines, Misty May will be offering up her only Rocky Mountain stop on her "Dream in Gold" juniors volleyball clinics prior to the juniors competition on Saturday.

We hope that the King of the Mountain Open provides an exciting venue for everyone in the family.  What better way to spend a family volleyball vacation than to compete at and experience one of the Country's top volleyball Events at one of America's top summer/winter resorts.
