Welcome to the 43rd edition of the Vail King of the Mountian Open,

Last year's  Tourney had 648 teams participating.  And, this year, we are adding, yet, two more divisions:  Men's and Women's Collegiate Open divisions.  These new divisions are not just for NCAA players; but, for any college age players who want to compete within their own age group and against their peers.  These first collegiate divisions will take place on the grass courts.  And, depending upon participation, we will make them A & B divisions in the future.

This year, we are excited to have 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Misty May, headlining our annual juniors doubles volleyball clinic.  Misty is bringing her "Dream in Gold" volleyball clinic to Vail.  Presented by NIKE, the clinic will take place on Friday, June 19th, at Ford Park in Vail, beginning with check-in at 9:30 a.m.  It will be a two-part clinic with instruction from 10 a.m.-Noon; lunch break with Q&A's for Misty; and, more instruction from 1-3 p.m.  Details will be posted on the "Timeline" page of this web site.

As well, the Vail Juniors will now be known as the Hunter K. Noon Memorial Vail Juniors, in memory of a young man who died earlier this winter.  Hunter had been a fixture at our Events ever since he was born; both as a player, a volunteer, and a friend.

Be sure and make your registrations, early.  And, your lodging reservations.  There is a lot going-on in Vail this Father's Day Weekend.  And, even though that makes it more exciting to be there; it does put a premium on getting your entries in early.

Looking forward to seeing you in Vail, once again, for one of the Country's vaunted volleyball festivals.
